Dancing on a Marble

  • Dancing on a Marble

The moon is full. The trees are white

As I stand outside on a starry night.

The earth is small, and I am too,

As I circle the sun on a marble blue.

“Come dance with us” say the snow covered trees

“As the flakes come down - sway in the breeze.

Marvel at the crystal structures in flight

As the snow covers earth on this sacred night.”

There’s a song in the silence – a whisper at best-

As I stand here and wonder, my heart is at rest.
